Welcome to the Central Valley PBL Height database, derived from the
California Air Resources Board (CARB) ceilometer network. This dataset
provides hourly daytime PBL heights from four ceilometers within the
Central Valley and one in Riverside. Here, we provide access to two data
products: daily ceilometer aerosol backscatter plots with overlaid PBL
and mixing layer heights; and an archive of hourly estimated PBL and
mixing layer heights in a downloadable format.
